John Wayne Airport

Located 20 minutes from Laguna Beach


The John Wayne Airport is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner. It is Orange County’s only commercial airport as well as the closest airport to Laguna Beach.

The John Wayne Airport offers several ‘green’ options for getting around after your arrival, including eco-friendly car rentals, shuttles and taxis.

Long Beach Airport

Located 45 minutes north of Laguna Beach


The Long Beach Airport has developed and applied projects and programs that promote clean air and water, energy conservation, environmental education, alternative energy generation and reduce landfill waste. There are two Electric Vehicle Charging Stations on site, as well as eco-friendly car rental options.

Los Angeles International Airport

Located 1 hour north of Laguna Beach

The Los Angeles International Airport has implemented a Master Plan that takes several steps to reduce the amount of pollution emitted by the airport. These steps include converting aircrafts to use clean fuel, using energy-saving preconditioned air in the airport’s gates, and providing aircraft electrical power while waiting at gates. LAX is the largest airport in Southern California.
